This update is late so I missed posting about the usual Triple Threat Tough Monday night swim. There are still two swimming opportunities this week and an OWS clinic:
Monday:
- Triple Threat Tough OWS training at 6:30 PM at Stewart Creek Park in The Colony (Lake Lewisville)
Sunday:
- Tri Life Racing OWS training at 7:30 AM at Windsurf Bay Park in Garland (Lake Ray Hubbard)
- Tri-Now Endurance OWS training at 7:00 AM at Cottonwood Creek Marina in Little Elm (Lake Lewisville)
- Tri-Now Endurance will hold an OWS Clinic at 9:00 AM at Cottonwood Creek Marina in Little Elm (Lake Lewisville). From the Tri-Now website:
The clinic will:
- address the unique challenges of open water swimming.
- provide experience in open water.
- teach the skills necessary for efficient open water swimming, including: starts, sighting, turning buoys & drafting
- provide a supportive environment where athletes can nurture trust in their abilities.
The cost of the clinic is $50.
